Hope Troy can fumble the ball six times
..or at least half as many times. Can everyone just try to be like Florida? When I say everyone I mean everyone who plays BGSU. Okay, thank you.
Two TDs, no completions in Army-EMU
The game is being taken place in the year 1928.
The donkey always goes last.
See, the problem there was you left a guy open 10 yards behind you.
BG 7-7 Troy
The donkey always goes last.
OHIO tied at 7, end of 1st
I hate the option.
Willie Geter: not a goal-line back.

OHIO up 10-7
Phil Bates got the start at QB. Missed some open receivers but looks really athletic when running. Had a couple of big gains with his feet.
spoke to soon...again
Bates goes down with hand injury. Unlikely to return.

OHIO 17-7
Boo Jackson QB scramble from the 5.
BG took a delay of game penalty for a better angle at the FG
Troy declined the penalty. YOU KICK FROM THERE. Well met, Sun Belt.
The donkey always goes last.
Boo Jackson hands the ball back to Wofford again
Seriously, if this guy’s our QB for the year again we’re screwed.
thats a bit of an exaggeration
don’t you think?
Wofford participates illegally on 4th down
Gets Ohio out of the pass interference we committed in the end zone.

Time for EMU to dust off that 32-second drill they've perfected in practice.
The donkey always goes last.
Eastern almost had it
but then they didn’t
The Zippers
somehow seem to start seasons better against Morgan State than against Syracuse.
Show them Ohio's here.
some initial thoughts on BG-TROY...
Just sort of emotional and upset now, but it was a pretty good game and Troy is about as close as we can get to playing a upper-tier MAC team . I couldn’t have asked for a better performance out of a very young team. Schilz actually looked pretty good for awhile and that interception is just one of those bounces that happen every now and then. Geter was a hell of a lot of fun to watch, which is almost always the case, but more so today.
I’m not really worried about how good this team is since they looked a lot better than what I feared. The thing is, there’s going to be a lot of games like this one and they’re going to need to win such games. A couple bounces of the ball and this team is destined for 2-10, on the flipside, they could easily get another high profile year in the books. I definitely feel a lot better about that Michigan game, even though I probably shouldn’t.
I really wish we would have played Florida today…
