I shant be around for these games, but you might be. And they're all watchable in the technical sense. Not so sure about that first one.
12 noon — Akron at Buffalo (Time Warner SportsNet) (MAC-Sports Livestream)
This might be the Zips' last chance at a victory, given that their finale is at WMU. Buffalo has a couple attempts at finishing off strong with two home games, but their defense hasn't kept a team under 30 points since September 24 (UConn). Using some type of jujitsu mathematical guessing here, I'd say both of these teams wallow somewhere in the 20s.
1:00 p.m. — Army at Temple (ESPN3)
If you're feenin' for that kind of blowout score, we may have a true one here. The Owls have been hard to run through, and it's quite all Army knows how to do. And unless they can borrow a surplus tank, they just might finish 0-4 against the MAC this year.
1:00 p.m. — EMU at Kent State (MAC-Sports Livestream)
The most interesting one of all, especially since this could potentially affect the MAC West. Eastern Michigan needs to win this game and requisition the assistance of Ball State next week against Toledo. Then EMU must travel to Northern Illinois and figure out how to slow that team down. Which means this is a textbook trap game. KSU has won three straight games and is moving the ball offensively as well as anyone in the conference right now. Both teams are also fightin' for that confounded bowl eligibility here. An EMU win gives them enough; a Flashes win puts them at 5-6. They're both dreaming of famous potatoes.
