After being turned down by D-II Wayne State head coach and ex-Akron player Paul Winters (read that again to yourself and be amazed), it's safe to say Akron's AD is desperate. Why not help him out and apply yourself? At this point, "managed an intramural flag football game once" is probably good enough to get consideration for the job. It's all about providing options.
