In 50 rounds and well over 1,000 picks, there were 17 Mid-American conference players selected by Major League Baseball teams. Kent State led the way with five selections (including first round compensation pick Andrew Chafin). CMU had three; WMU, Miami, BGSU and Akron each with two, and one from Ball State. The Detroit Tigers had the most hustle selections, taking three (all from CMU and WMU) while the Diamondbacks, White Sox and Red Sox each double-tipped into the MAC. And that's the MLB Draft.
