Belt Loops: Kent State Is The Mannliest Team

Stay connected for news and updates

Some MAC links to begin the week:

• Last week Kent State replaced incoming freshman Jarekious Bradley rather quickly with another tongue-twisting name: Devereaux Manley. The guard from Oakland, California was spotted during a stint with an AAU team and will join the Flashes this season as a freshman. Between him and center Justin Manns, I don't think anybody can question this team's manhood. [MAC Report Online]

• Pete Lembo was watching film of Ball State's defense last year and spotted obvious errors in fundamentals. He's working on that. It can't not help. [Fort Wayne News-Sentinel]

• In attempt to move from defensive end to tackle, NIU's Anthony Wells has been gorging himself silly to go from 235 to 280 pounds. Weight gain is so glamorous. [Red And Black Attack]

• ESPN names NIU center Scott Wedige and Toledo wide receiver Eric Page (as a punt returner) to their preseason Non-AQ team. That's not many.
