The Bowling Green Sentinel-Tribune had reported that Notre Dame would announce its future conference affiliation plans at this week's CCHA meetings in Dearborn. The news was of special importance to Western Michigan, who have repeatedly said that the Broncos will follow the Irish. But now, it turns out Notre Dame is keeping its mouth shut to "evaulate several options still on the table." What exactly this means is anyone's guess, though my money is on a full-court press from Hockey East, which includes Notre Dame's Big East counterparts Boston College and Providence.
