Northern Illinois offense torches own D in final scrimmage

The Huskies' final scrimmage could be a microcosm of what to expect this season. Chandler Harnish and the offense scored eight touchdowns on the Northern defense, a scenario that should have fans both overjoyed and biting their nails. The defense was without Sean Progar and Pat Schiller, and still managed two interceptions, but this is probably not the way they wanted to be trending as the opener against Army approaches. Definitely looks as if high scoring shootouts could be a way of life in DeKalb this season.
