It's time to end October right. . . with some football!
Another week, and this will be the end of non-conference match-ups, and a steady week. Starting next week, we will have mid-week games, so keep your eyes peeled for early posts. This week will be a 3 point week for detailed picks because of Halloween. Make the connection if you can. Here is the link to the form. Good luck!
On to the picks...........
Ball St @ Army - Ball State is looking to get bowl eligible before hitting a rough part of their schedule. Still, with 2 BCS wins, hard to imagine a 6-6 or 7-5 BSU team getting passed over in November.
Northern Illinois @ WMU - WMU drops their 3rd straight, the "Fire Cubit" mumbles become actual chatter, and next weekend's CMU-WMU game will basically be a "Save Your Job" Bowl.
Eastern Michigan @ BGSU - Yeah Eastern has looked good each of the past two weeks, but now do it against a team that plays good defense.
#24 Ohio @ Miami (OH) - Miami will test Ohio, but with a bye week to prepare, advantage goes to the Bobcats.
Toledo @ Buffalo - Not even close. I really wish Toledo and NIU had won their opening games. 3 undefeated MAC teams? Insane!
Akron @ CMU - It's hard to gauge either team. CMU has scored on all 3 of the top teams in the MAC, but really has struggled all year. Akron has held their own, but hasn't won. I go with the home team, and the MAC West team, to win this one.
UMass @ Vanderbilt - LOL. Vandy has been a rollercoaster team this season, but this is UMass.
High: Ball St
Low: Do you have to ask? UMASS!
