Taken 3: Western Michigan's CCHA Banner Went Missing

After a banner celebrating last year's CCHA championship was stolen, Western Michigan hockey captain Luke Witkowski reached for inspiration from Liam Neeson to find the culprit on Twitter.

I shared this last night, but couldn't help but re-post. Western Michigan's CCHA championship banner (not the actual one, but one "commemorating it") was somehow pilfered from their ice arena earlier this week and they're asking for any possible leads, or better yet, the banner itself. This is the official position of the school, but WMU defenseman/captain Luke Witkowski went rogue on Twitter using his own tactics:

For those keeping score, WMU hockey has now channeled from both 'Taken' and 'The Big Lebowski.' Strong start to the season.

I sure hope they can find the missing banner. In the meantime, I made you guys a replacement one:
