Former Northern Illinois players Silas, Kube getting the call
First there was Xavier Silas agreeing to play with the Philadelphia 76ers for the rest of the season. Silas had been playing with the Maine Red Claws in the D-League. Now, Alex Kube, an undrafted linebacker who graduated in 2011, has been invited to mini-camp with the Minnesota Vikings, according to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle.
