Some news in the down time. While not a done deal yet, all signs point to a doubleheader being played at Chicago's Soldier Field, with the other game being a WCHA match-up of Wisconsin and Minnesota. This game would somehow be a home game for Miami, which makes no sense because RedHawk fans have to drive an additional 3+ hours to make the trip than Irish fans. Nevertheless, with a February 17th date expected, it should provide a lot of excitement before the last CCHA playoffs between the two teams that were pre-season #1/#2 this year.
