This is the part of the season where schools are scrambling to fill spots in their winter schedules — they announce these usually around August — and KSU threw a D-II team a payout bone by playing them on December 30, a Sunday. The Fairmont State Fighting Falcons went 8-19 last season. Fairmont graduates their top two scorers, both who averaged over 21 points per game. So, uh, neat!
