It was a rough night for UMass, as they dropped their first contest as an FBS team to former rival UConn. The Minutemen couldn't get a single thing going all night on offense, and the defense wilted late. The 37-0 loss resulted in the first shutout for the team since 1995, a streak of 199 games. Ouch.
To help the team prepare for their game against Indiana next week, I've compiled a list of things that need to improve in order for them to have a chance at sniffing the end zone and maybe even staying competitive:
