Whitehouse, Ohio is a small farm village almost equidistant from the campuses of Bowling Green and Toledo, and making the rounds across the college footballnets today was this wondrous little number revealed last month — although admittedly I missed it the first time.
WNWO made mention of this year's incarnation of the maze, noting that Wheeler Farms' corn maze for 2012 is commemorating the Battle of I-75. Here we go:
In previous years, the corn maze has featured Crystal Bowersox, Harry Potter, The Toledo Walleye, Sarah Palin, and butterflies.
Bowersox, for those who wouldn't know outside of Northwest Ohio, was an American Idol runner-up who is from the area. Anyways, if you're nearby you can try the UT-BG corn maze for eight bucks an adult though the end of October.
I am not entirely sure why the "Battle of I-75" is not called The Corn Maze. It makes entirely too much sense and watching this game in recent years has certainly felt like one.
