For an explanation on this fantasy league, and why it's cooler than yours, look here.
THANK YOU, RANDY MOSS RULE. Victor Cruz never played in the MAC but thanks to his UMass days, he counts for the purposes of this league. He had over 26 points and the MAC beat the Big East by about 20 points. But in terms of true MAC players, guys like Andrew Hawkins and Abram Elam (both new pickups) and Chase Blackburn outperformed their projections. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds good!
Antonio Gates was apparently out with an injury, and I didn't even know he was sick. Tony Scheffler could've added another point, but Miami/Packers tight end Tom Crabtree caught a touchdown, which is good to know.
Defensively the team's pretty thin with injuries to James Harrison and Frank Zombo, but fortunately most players don't accrue a ton of points on that side. Gotta stick with the players we have.
So the MAC is now at 1-1 (plus would win the Have Nots division on tiebreakers) and plays the Mountain West, currently 0-2 and has scored the least in the league, which means of course the Mountain West will win this week.
