Woah, a little late, but you guys usually pick late anyways. Remember, we are doing the new form this week, so if you haven't sent me your PIN, just email me it when you do your picks. On Friday night, we will look at who everyone picked up until that point to give you an idea of what the consensus is.
Because we still award a bonus point for discussion, just leave a comment below explaining your picks. (I know, it'll be weird). Due to this new format, we will award just 1 point, and my picks will still be below the jump.
As for the form, just click here and follow the instructions.
But on to my picks, and this week's games.........
SATURDAY
Ball State @ #12 Clemson - Uh yeah. Tajh Boyd is a monster, and even though Ball State looked good against EMU last week, I don't see this being close at all.
Southern Illinois @ Miami (OH) - SIU lost last week to EIU, the team WMU plays. Lots of acronyms, but basically all you need to know is that Miami is good enough to beat a lower level FCS team.
Illinois State @ Eastern Michigan - Again, FCS vs FBS. Eastern didn't look that good against Ball State, but should be good enough to dominate in this match-up.
Indiana @ UMass - How did the Minutemen pull this off? Their home opener is against a weak BCS team? Really? Still, UMass can't pull off top 10 plays all day. Hell, they can't even score. Indiana should help fix the later, but still, you can't take UMass in this one.
#11 Michigan State @ Central Michigan - hahahahahahaha. The line for this one opened at +24 (MSU favored). I think it has dropped closer to +20, which is still bad because I'd bet over. Way, way, WAY over. If you can't handle SEMO, Michigan State will use you as a scrimmage squad.
Toledo @ Wyoming - I didn't catch the Toledo-'Zona game, but it went to OT. Wyoming played #15 Texas pretty well early on. This will be a good game, but I think the Rockets use their speed to win this one. Weird note on this one should be provided by the Suss (hint: it's the Cowboys' OC)
Morgan State @ Buffalo - Buffalo actually played Georgia MUCH better than anyone expected. I expect the Bulls to easily handle this MSU.
Akron @ Florida International - Last year, these two played a 27-17 game in favor of FIU. Akron looked like they were still transitioning, and going on the road is never good for that.
Idaho @ Bowling Green - Both teams played a ranked team last week and lost. BG played Florida, a FBS team. Idaho played Eastern Washington, an FCS team. BG played better, against the better opponent. Any other reason to think this game should be a blowout?
New Mexico State @ Ohio - Let's calm down and focus. Ohio beat a Penn State team that, while talented, is on an emotional roller coaster. Could they go 12-0? I don't know. NMSU though is really weak, and this game should be a laugher.
Tennessee-Martin @ Northern Illinois - hahahahaha. Yeah. Next!
Eastern Illinois @ Western Michigan - Again, a laugher. Actually, this game could get interesting if WMU forgets what they looked like in 2011. Why? Because that's who EIU looked like against SIU last weekend.
Kent State @ Kentucky - Kentucky really didn't look too good against Louisville. Kent State has an extra 3 days to prepare for this game. Still, I prefer a lower level ESSSS-EEEEEEEE-SEEEEEEEEE team over a lower-to-mid level MAC team at home.
High: Western Michigan
Low: Central Michigan
