Hustle Belt Awards Standings: Week 5

It's time to revisit the standings for the inaugural Hustle Belt Awards.

Roethlisberger Golden Arm Award

1. Keith Wenning (Ball State) -I'm really not sure if anyone catches Wenning in passing yards this season.
2. Matt Johnson (Bowling Green) - Johnson is second in the MAC with 1,229 yards passing. He also has six touchdowns through the air. 
3. Jordan Lynch (Northern Illinois) - Lynch leads the MAC in passing touchdowns with 10.
4. Kyle Pohl (Akron) - He continues to have a stellar first season under center with 1,072 and eight touchdowns.
5. Tyler Tettleton (Ohio) - After a bye week, Tettleton and the 'Cats head to Akron looking for their fourth straight win

Tait Trophy

1. David Fluellen (Toledo) - The Rockets' tailback averages 125.2 yards per game on the ground. He has also tallied five touchdowns.
2. Travis Greene (Bowling Green) - Greene is putting together a really strong season with 551 rushing yards. William Houston is still stealing touchdowns.
3. Horactio Banks (Ball State) - His teammate Jahwan Edwards leads the MAC with seven rushing touchdowns, but Banks is averaging 6.4 yards per carry on his way to 350 yards on the season.
4. Brian Fields (Western Michigan) - Fields averages 74 yards per game on the ground and has four touchdowns. Which is one more than...
5. Saylor Lavali (Central Michigan) - Who also averages 74 yards per game but has only three touchdowns.

Moss-Jennings Trophy

1. Willie Snead (Ball State) - It makes sense that the highest rated quarterback in the conference has the highest rated receiver. Snead leads the MAC with 611 yards.
2. Alex Neutz (Buffalo) - Neutz averages 103.5 yards and a score per game through four contests.
3. Titus Davis (Central Michigan) - Davis jumped into second in the conference in receiving yards with 484 yards. He also has four touchdowns.
4. Alonzo Russell (Toledo) - Made the catch of the year PLUS has 26 OTHER receptions. Three scores for Toledo's receiver.
5. Bernard Reedy (Toledo) - Reedy has the most receptions in the conference with 39.

Fisher Award

1. Tyler Loos (Northern Illinois) - Again, Loos might not be dethroned from the top spot...
2. Zac Kerin (Toledo) - Unless Kerin and Fluellen keep succeeding at an insane level posting rushing yards like they have been.
3. Jared Volk (Northern Illinois) - Lynch - Stingily - 2016
4. Dominic Flewellyn (Bowling Green) - Sack numbers for BG's O-Line need to come down and Flewellyn will jump up on this list.
5. John Prior (Ohio) - One of Ohio's only healthy offensive starters up front. He's kept Tettleton off his back all but two times this season.

Bronze Babin

1. Perez Ford (Northern Illinois) - The MAC's leader in sacks with four solo quarterback takedowns He also has six tackles for loss on the year.
2. Nico Caponi (Akron) - Caponi also has four sacks on the year for the Zips and has forced two fumbles.
3. Roosevelt Nix (Kent State) - Nix is asserting his dominance in the center of the Flashes D tied for the conference lead in tackles for loss with seven.
4. Pat O'Conner (Eastern Michigan) - O'Connor tied with four sacks as well. Not as explosive as he was at the beginning of the season.
5. C.J. James (Akron) - James climbing up the ranks with three solo sacks and an assist. He also has two forced fumbles.

Lambert Award

1. Justin Cherocci (Central Michigan) - Leads the MAC in tackles, tackles for loss and has three sacks and two forced fumbles.
2. Khalil Mack (Buffalo) - Mack is still dominant... but his stats are starting to drop off.
3. Chase Murdock (Toledo) - Three sacks for the Toledo backer who has 42 total tackles on the year.
4. Shamari Benton (Central Michigan) - Benton's numbers are still high, but Cherocci has been stealing the thunder.
5. Ben Ingle (Ball State) - Ball State's sophomore linebacker averages 9.2 tackles per game.

Bayless Award

1. Jimmie Ward (Northern Illinois) - Three interceptions. One touchdown. And 9.8 tackles per game. Ward keeps balling.
2. Najjah Johnson (Buffalo) - Johnson leads all DBs with 7 passes defended.
3. Dechane Durante (Northern Illinois) - Durante is a turnover machine with three interceptions and two forced fumbles for the Huskies.
4. Junior Sylvestre (Toledo) - Sylvestre leads all DBs in the MAC with 10.6 tackles per game.
5. Justin March (Akron) - March used to have the conference lead in picks, but is now tied at the top with three.

Zinc Zastudil

1. Zac Murphy (Miami) - PUUUUUNTTTTT
2. Matthew Sims (Northern Illinois) - Sims leads the conference with 11.8 points scored per game.
3. Jeremiah Detmer (Toledo) - Detmer is tied with Sims in field goal percentage making 9 of 10.
4. Bernard Reedy (Toledo) - Reedy leads the MAC in return average at 27.2 yards per return.
5. Scott Secor (Ball State) - Secor is second in the conference in scoring at 8.8 points per game.

Rowe Award

1. Jimmie Ward (Northern Illinois) -
