Saturday, Noon | No. 17 Northern Illinois | 8-0 (4-0) | UMass | 1-7 (1-3) | ESPN3 |
The Northern Illinois Huskies head out East to take on the UMass Minutemen for a chance at winning its 22.d straight MAC contest. The Huskies are big favorites in this one, and with A.J. Doyle likely to sit out (and maybe Rob Blanchflower too) UMass's odds are getting worse. You can stream this one on ESPN3.
Saturday, 3:30 p.m. | Kent State | 2-7 (1-4) | Akron | 2-7 (1-4) | Time Warner SportsChannel / ESPN3 |
Two bottom dweller MAC teams, albeit with varying circumstances surrounding their positions, face off on Time Warner SportsChannel and ESPN# (blacked out in Ohio). There's not a lot riding on this game other than pride.
Saturday, 7 p.m. | Eastern Michigan | 1-7 (0-4) | Toledo | 5-3 (3-1) | BCSN / ESPN3 |
The Toledo Rockets welcome the struggling EMU Eagles into the Glass Bowl for the MAC's lone evening game of the weekend. The final game before weeknight MACtion begins should be an ugly one. The Rockets are favored by more than 30 points, and the game should provide a style win for them, while for EMU it's an opportunity to get Brogan Roback more playing time. It can be streamed on ESPN#, and viewed on the Buckeye Cable Sports Network. |
