SE Missouri St. @ Ball State, 7 p.m. ET |
Florida A&M @ Toledo, 7 p.m. ET |
Cleveland St. @ Eastern Michigan, 7 p.m. ET |
The Men's slate of games Monday features some interesting matchups. Ball State welcomes SE Missouri State from the Ohio Valley Conference into Muncie, Ind.. The Redhawks are currently 2-1 with wins against IUPU and Central Baptist. The Cardinals will be tasked with shutting down small forward Jarekious Bradley who is averaging nearly 17 points-per-game, along with just under 8 rebounds. SE Missouri also has freshman two-guard Antonius Cleveland who appears to be a real danger. He's averaging 14 and 6 and provides the Redhawks with a solid No. 2 option.
Toledo gets a bit of a tuneup matchup against a weak Florida A&M team at home. The Rattlers have struggled their way to a 1-2 record so far, and don't feature any scoring threats outside of Jamie Adams, who is averaging just over 13 points-per-game. Forward bobby King should be somewhat of a challenge for Nathan Boothe, but not a real threat.
Cleveland State at Eastern Michigan is probably the most interesting of the evening's matchups. The Eagles get to defend their 3-0 record against a 2-1 Vikings team that was picked by many to finish 4th in the Horizon League. Bryn Forbes is back for the Vikings and is off to a fantastic start. He's averaging nearly 20 points and just over 4 boards a game. Through three games four Vikings are averaging double digit scoring figures and should provide EMU's defense with a legit test.
Most of these games should be available to be streamed on the MAC Digital Network via MACSports.com.
Bowling Green @ Butler, 7 p.m. ET |
Michigan @ Western Michigan, 7 p.m. ET |
On the women's side of things Bowling Green heads out to Indiana to put its 3-0 record to the test against a tough Butler squad. The bulldogs are 1-2 with both of their losses coming in close overtime matchups. Western Michigan welcomes Michigan into town for a little in-state grudge match. The Broncos will have their hands full with a tough Wolverines squad. Michigan is 2-2, with losses to Bowling Green and Xavier, and wins over Detroit and Arizona.
