Elena De Alfredo, from Madrid, Spain, is the latest addition to a Toledo Rockets roster that has seen a crazy amount of turnover from the end of last season up to today. She will be one of five incoming freshman next year on a team that has plenty of playing time available for anyone willing to step up and take the opportunity.
De Alfredo, a 5' 7" guard, put up 11 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for her club team this past season. Her most exciting statistic, if you're a regular watcher of Toledo women's basketball, is her three point shooting percentage: 41.8% on 33 of 79 attempts.
She played for the U-18 Spanish National Team that finished fifth at the 2012 European Championship. Her numbers during that tournament were similar to her club statistics.
