Akron and Kent State Included in ESPN 24-Hour Tip-Off Marathon

ESPN announced the schedule for their sixth annual 24-hour tip-off marathon today. The gimmick for this event is that there will be a college basketball game going on each hour from 7 p.m. November 11 through 9:30 p.m. November 12. Kent State's matchup with Temple in Philadelphia will kick off the marathon, starting at 7:30 Eastern on ESPNU. Akron travels to Moraga, California, to take on the Gaels of St. Mary's. That contest will tip off at 3 a.m. Eastern on ESPN. No, that's not a typo. The Flashes have participated in this event the last three seasons, but this is Akron's first time playing.
