Ohio vs Louisville: Cardinals Take Down The Bobcats in Dominant Fashion

The Louisville Cardinals absolutely dominated the Ohio Bobcats for four quarters. It was a hard one to swallow for a Bobcats team that had high ambitions heading into the game, and was looking to win another game on a National stage, just as they did a year ago in Happy Valley. The Teddy Bridgewater led Cardinals routed the Bobcats in a 49-7 victory.

Louisville scored on drives of 75, 55, 86, 80, 68, 82 in the game. Bridgewater led a steady and efficient Cardinal offense all day and tossed five touchdowns on 23 of 28 passing, with 355 yards. Five players scored touchdowns with Kai De La Cruz and DeVante Parker accounting for over 200 yards and four touchdowns between the two of them.

On the day, Ohio would manage only 274 yards with Louisville romping for 615.

Keith Moore went down on the first drive of the game with a left ankle injury and missed the rest of the contest. Sam Jonson (left knee) and Jon Lechner (shoulder)  seemed to be having injury problems. Jonson went down after a long completion from Tettleton to Donte Foster, and Lechner was taken out with shoulder issues as previously mentioned.
