Ohio had their way with the visiting Austin Peay Governors in the first half, and that shouldn't change in the second half. Ohio's Tyler Tettleton threw three touchdown passes in the first half. His first connection with Matt Waters for a six-yard TD was the 50th passing TD in his Ohio career.
Tettleton found his brother in arms Donte Foster deep for a 53-yarder, and Waters again for a 23-yard touchdown to bring the total to 21-0, and that's where it stands at the half. Tettleton was 9/11 for 135 yards before being pulled for Derrius Vick, who put together a solid drive before settling for a missed Matt Green 48-yard field goal.
Austin Peay failed to generate much of well... anything. The Governors picked up their first first down of the game with about 12 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter. False starts marred the first half offensively for Austin Peay. The exasperation showed in the mannerisms of the Governors' offense for much of the half.
