P.J. Fleck agrees to an extension with WMU through 2020
Look out, everyone. The Western Michigan Broncos have extended head coach P.J. Fleck's contract for the next six years. Fleck took the Broncos from 1 win in 2013 to 8 in 2014, a +7 win differential. Fleck won MAC Coach of the Year this season, and is a semifinalist for the national Maxwell Coach of the Year Award. The contract guarantees a base sealary of $225,000 , with kickers form private donors that pushes it up to $800,000. There are additional performance-based incentives in the contract. Coach Fleck signed the contract in frot of the team and a contingent from the university. The announcement happens to fall on the two-year anniversary of his hiring.
