2016 3-star DT Amir Watts de-commits from WMU

+

This news is a big blow to Western Michigan's recruiting class, however the news does not come as much surprise. In the month of May, Watts reportedly received offers from Cincinnati, Pitt, and Rutgers despite being committed to the Broncos at the time. It sort of became clear that Watts was committed, yet still keeping his options open.

Hustle Belt has reached out to Watts for comment regarding his decision and we will update this post accordingly. We wish him nothing but the best.

UPDATE: Watts tells Hustle Belt that Pitt, Kentucky, and Rutgers all offered him in the spring while Tennessee, Purdue, and Minnesota have been reaching out lately and "have been talking about visits."
