Per an article by the Toledo Blade’s John Wagner, Malik Hluchoweckyj and Rasheed Worrell will transfer from Bowling Green. Hluchoweckyj only played in 13 games, while Worrell averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 rebounds on a vertically challenged Falcons squad.
Both players have two years of eligibility remaining.
Coincidentally or not, the Falcons also picked up a commitment from Matiss Kulackovskis of Archbishop Ryan High School, in Philadelphia.
While this is purely speculation on my part, it seems like these two players are moving on as coach Huger builds for the future. His current recruiting class has 5 players. With the loss of these two players, and the 3 seniors, Bowling Green loses 5. Coincidence?
I personally wont be sad to see Malik Hluchoweckyj go. I misspelled Zack Denny earlier in the year, for goodness’ sake. I am going to cut the article short now, I need to practice Kulackovskis.
