Bryan M. Vance

Editor in Chief/MACtion expert

Fell in love with #MACtion when I first stepped on the red brick streets of Athens in the fall of 2012. Less than a year later I was handed the reins to Hustle Belt and have been carrying the torch for mid-major bloggers since.

Unemployed two time graduate of THE Ohio University (journalism and electronic media production).

Yes, I'd love to talk #MACtion on your show, email me.

Jon Smith Says He Left Ohio Because of Jim Christian

A few weeks ago Bobcat nation was shocked to hear that just days after the 'Cats lost to Akron in the MAC Tournament senior forward/center Jon Smith had quit the team.

Smith, a quiet player had developed a reputation as being a hardworking low-drama player. But then he was gone, and there was no reason given. Well now, after Jim Christian took the job at Boston College, Smith is speaking out.

In an interview with the Ohio student newspaper, The Post, Smith says Christian is the reason he left, citing a feeling that the school wasn't being represented appropriately by its leader.

Something makes me think we haven't heard the last of this yet.
