This was an important game for Akron, in that they suffered no further suspensions due to the compliance department. It was a rollover win against a Division III team, so take little solace in the outcome. Five players finished with double-figures: Brian Walsh (18), Deji Ibitayo (16), Alex Abreu (12 and seven assists), Jake Kretzer (12) and Chauncey Gilliam (10). Zeke Marshall added eight points and six blocks because life is unfair.
