They played a basketball game against a basketball team and won the game. Good on you. The Division III Judson Eagles had it as close as three points with under 10 minutes to go, and then NIU rightly pulled away. Freshman guard Akeem Springs and Sam Mader each scored 16 points. Kevin Gray added 10 points and eight rebounds.
So that counts as their first "win." NIU is 1-2 and will host Loyola-Illinois on Saturday.
