One of the tougher losses to swallow is one where you lead for the majority of the game. Demetrius Treadwell had a terrific showing: 20 points on 10 shots and eight rebounds. Chauncey Gilliam added 16 points on nine shots.
Akron will turn around and try to end this two-game losing streak with a matchup against noted nonconference patsy Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Tuesday.
