Welp, that's a letdown after beating Purdue. But UIC is a measurably better team than the Boilermakers, and EMU was only down 24-19 at halftime, but the Flames went on a second-half tear, shooting 60 percent in the second half and nearly 70 percent on threes. Leading the way for the Eagles was Glenn Bryant, who scored 10 points and brought down seven rebounds.
EMU drops to 6-3 and will play at Michigan on Thursday.
