Purdue 66, Ball State 56

Very similar to the Michigan State game, the Cardinals remained competitive for most of the game, even if they never led often. With under seven minutes they were down just three points, but credit Purdue for never letting BSU sneak in for a chance at victory. Jesse Berry took the majority of the shots, including 4-for-10 on 3-pointers, finishing with 22 points — 13 in the second half. Marcus Posley was the secondary option, and he had 12 points.

So that makes the Cardinals 1-4 against in-state teams, with the lone win against Holy Cross College of the NAIA. Their tour of Indiana continues when they host IUPUI Sunday afternoon.
