Hey, they were close. Just not close enough. Shayne Whittington had a singularly awesome performance with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and we like nice even numbers around here. Divide by 10, I always say. But the rest of the team had some difficulties shooting, and the Broncos never led, ever, ever.

Notable in this game is Duquesne freshman Jeremiah Jones getting ejected for an elbow to the head of Nate Hutcheson. I didn't see it, but if I can find video we'll certainly pass it along.

WMU is now 7-4 and brings Mount Saint Mary's into Kalamazoo on Saturday. Be careful, they're supposed to get snow.
