Seattle 75, Northern Illinois 48

Stay connected for news and updates

Youch. I guess the Huskies are not a fan of the Pacific Northwest? The RedHawks jumped out to a 20-7 lead early and never looked back. NIU shot under under 30 percent for the first half while Seattle was making just about everything (around 60 percent) and blazed to a 47-27 halftime advantage. They were also severely outrebounded 38-22. Just nothing pretty here. Antone Christian's 11 first half points led the team and Daveon Balls had eight. That was it.

NIU falls to 2-8 and will stay in the state to play Washington on Saturday.
