Kent State 77, Saint Francis (PA) 48

Kent State began the game on a 23-1 run. TWENTY THREE TO ONE. Yes, it's a winless team, but with a schedule that included Penn State, Notre Dame, Lehigh and Bucknell … this 29-point loss is their worst of the year. (Previous worst was Bucknell by 27.)

Chris Evans led the way with 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Kris Brewer gave a highly efficient 13 points on three shots, adding five assists. SFPA held their own on the rebounding margin but in every other fashion they were dominated.

The Golden Flashes broke a three-game losing streak, move to 6-5 and on Saturday they host their GoDaddy.com Bowl nemeses, Arkansas State.
