OK, what the heck happened here? UND entered the game winless against Division I, has trouble scoring, has trouble keeping someone from scoring, and doesn't rebound particularly well. Well, they corrected two of those three things against BGSU, closing out the win largely helped by a huge rebounding margin: 40-23, in fact, with 16-4 on the offensive rebounds.
It's a pretty bad loss for the Falcons, no doubt, and the second straight heartbreaking loss on the road, for different reasons. Now they have to play at Temple on Monday, and that's not going to be easy either.
