So there was this weird stretch of game where it went from a tight 59-57 Detroit lead to a 74-59 Detroit lead in about four minutes. What happened? Well, I counted three Titans dunks by Doug Anderson in that stretch. I count more turnovers in UT's side of the box score but I'd say their shooting and transition defense basically took them right out of the game at the end.

They did have some good games out of Juice Brown (20 points, five assists) and Rian Pearson (19 points, eight rebounds), and Matt Smith's perimeter shots also got him to 15 points.

Toledo falls to 2-6 and will travel to Eastern Illinois on Saturday.
