All things considered, losing by 12 to an undefeated team isn't the worst thing in the world, especially considering where CMU has come from. Kyle Randall, as usual, led them with scoring with 15 points but also turned it over eight times. By comparison, the 49ers had nine team turnovers. Olivier Mbaigoto and John Simons each scored 13 point and Blake Hibbits chipped in with 11 points and seven boards.
Next up for the 4-4 Chippewas is a late night showdown at Pepperdine next Sunday.
