This game didn't count for either team, thankfully; UM-Dearborn is 3-13, playing in the NAIA. They lost to a startlingly similar score at EMU in the beginning of the year (82-38). It was the perfect night for Olivier Mbaigoto to push around some smaller people (UMD's tallest player is 6'5") to the tune of 20 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks.
Exhibition games this late in the season are weird, but I suppose there is sympathy to be had here; CMU's last game that counted was a 15-point loss to Actual Michigan, so beating up one some guys wearing ridiculously similar jerseys ought to be therapeutic.
