UMass RB Michael Cox Flips Over A Defender

Proof that UMass can score points!

Their inaugural FBS campaign has featured a couple snazzy plays, mostly on defense, but I was impressed with the overall game of Michael Cox against Miami. The RedHawks had trouble containing him and he was able to make tacklers miss, especially Justin Bowers, who he pretty much somersaulted over.

He didn't stick the landing, but it doesn't count for any more points either way.

Cox had a career-best — including three years with Michigan — 30 carries for 188 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday. If UMass can get him going, they might steal one or two games this season.
