Dri Archer Pacing Kent State With A 35-26 Lead After Three Quarters

Stay connected for news and updates

Dri Archer, everybody. A 33-yard receiving touchdown gave Spencer Keith his third career three-touchdown day. Archer's current line: 118 kickoff return yards, 37 rushing yards, 104 receiving yards. That's 259 all-purpose yards on 11 touches. THAT is efficiency.

A scary moment in the third quarter as Roosevelt Nix lay on the ground face down for a while, but he was able to get up and walk off the field without help.

But Ball State is keeping pace as best they can. Keith Wenning has a monster day already: 354 yards and three touchdowns on 23-for-33 passing. Willie Snead and Connor Ryan hailed in touchdowns in the third quarter. A Steven Schott field goal atoned for a missed PAT earlier in the quarter. Now their defense just needs to make some more stops.
