Hustle Belt Awards Standings: Week 7

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

It's time to see how the standings play out for the Hustle Belt Awards after Week 7.

Roethlisberger Golden Arm Award

1. Keith Wenning (Ball State) - Just under 700 yards more than everyone else in the conference. Can he be contained?

2. Matt Johnson (Bowling Green) - Matty J has done his thing this year with 1,619 and nine touchdowns for the MAC East leading Falcons

3. Jordan Lynch (Northern Illinois) - He's second in the MAC with 13 touchdown passes completing over 60% of his passes.

4. Colin Reardon (Kent State) - Reardon's 10 TD-to-4 interception is one of the tops in the conference plus he's thrown for 1,199 yards.

5. Joe Licata (Buffalo) - Licata and the Bulls have been fantastic as of late.

Tait Trophy

1. David Fluellen (Toledo) - Fluellen leads the MAC with 846 yards and has added nine scores.

2. Travis Greene (Bowling Greene) - Bowling Green's Greene is hot on Fluellen's heels with 810 yards on the season.

3. Saylor Lavallii (Central Michigan) - Lavallii had a career high in carries and yards against the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday.

4. Jahwan Edwards (Ball State) - Edwards' 10 TDs lead the MAC. He has also rushed for 447 yards for the Cardinals.

5. Branden Oliver (Buffalo) - Oliver's performance over the past few weeks has him on the list. He has rushed for 473 and four touchdowns this year.

Moss-Jennings Trophy

1. Willie Snead (Ball State) - Snead has 264 yards more than the second leading receiver in the MAC.

2. Alex Neutz (Buffalo) - Neutz has hauled in 34 passes for 527 yards and six TDs for the Bulls this year.

3. Jordan Williams (Ball State) - Williams is second in the MAC in receiving yards behind his teammate Snead.

4. Titus Davis (Central Michigan) - Davis didn't play this week but he's still fourth in the MAC in receiving yards.

5. Da'Ron Brown (Northern Illinois) - Brown is one of Lynch's favorite targets. He's hauled in five touchdowns this year.

Eric Fisher Award

1. Tyler Loos (Northern Illinois) - Northern is good.

2. Matthew Page (Ball State) - Wenning. Edwards. Banks. Page is getting the job done.

3. Zac Kerin (Toledo) - Boasts the MAC's leading rusher behind him.

4. Jake Olson (Central Michigan) - Replacing Eric Fisher is hard. Olson and Central have held their own.

5. Jared Volk (Northern Illinois) - Volk isn't slipping off because of things he's doing poorly, just because of what other lines are starting to do.

Bronze Babin

1. Ty Branz (Ohio) - Branz has been ballin' for the 'Cats. His seven sacks leads the MAC and a game against Eastern might allow him to explode for a few more.

2. Jayrone Elliott (Toledo) - Elliott leads the MAC in tackles per game for a D-lineman with 5.8. He also has five sacks on the year.

3. Nathan Ollie (Ball State) - Ollie averages 5.3 tackles per game and has two sacks. His seven tackles for loss are third best in the conference.

4. Colby Way (Buffalo) - Way is coming off of MAC East Defensive Player of the Week where he had a career-high three sacks against Western Michigan.

5. Tarrell Basham (Ohio) - Ohio's stellar freshman is right behind Branz with six sacks on the year. Despite graduating all four starting defensive linemen last year, the Bobcats are getting to quarterbacks.

Lambert Award

1. Justin Cherocci (Central Michigan) - Cherocci bottled up the Ohio run game on Saturday and still holds the conference lead in tackles... well, kind of...

2. Khalil Mack (Buffalo) - Mack is up to six sacks on the year and has eight tackles for loss this year. He's part of the reason Buffalo has been destroying teams as of late.

3. Shamari Benton (Central Michigan) - So, Cherocci doesn't technically have sole possession of first place in tackles because Benton has caught up to him. The duo both have 73 tackles this year.

4. Kent Kern (Miami) - Kern is averaging 10 tackles per game. If he can keep up the pace, he very well can be the second Miami RedHawk in two years to finish Top 3 in the MAC in tackles.

5. Justin March (Akron) - March's three INTs is the best for Linebackers in the MAC.

Bayless Award

1. Jimmie Ward (Northern Illinois) - Five picks for the stud out in DeKalb. Ward is a tremendous talent on that Huskie defense.

2. Najja Johnson (Buffalo) - Johnson has three interceptions and a defensive touchdown this year while defending a conference-high 11 passes.

3. Dayonne Nunley (Miami) - Nunley is right behind Johnson with 10 passes defended. He also has an interception and 33 tackles.

4. Dechane Durante (Northern Illinois) - Durante still riding strong with three interceptions and two forced fumbles.

5. Kavon Frazier (Central Michigan) - Frazier picked up his third interception of the year against Ohio and was named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week.

Zinc Zastudil

1. Zac Murphy (Miami) - Lock it up. 2,004 punting yards. Conference-high 47.7 yards per punt. He has an 84-yard punt. 80-freaking-4 yards.

2. Matthew Sims (Northern Illinois) - Still the conference's leading scorer at 11 points per game.

3. Tommylee Lewis (Northern Illinois) - It's unfortunate that teams don't kickoff to Northern very often because they're good and things, but Lewis is averaging 28.1 yards per return with a 99 yard touchdown return this year.

4. Jeremiah Detmer (Toledo) - He's only missed one field goal this year knocking through 11 for the conference lead.

5. J Schroeder (Western Michigan) - NEW PUNTER ALERT NEW PUNTER ALERT NEW PUNTER ALERT. He's punted 53 times this year so far. And his name is J.
