It's official, Tyler Van Tubbergen will not start today against the Ball State Cardinals. Instead, redshirt freshman Zach Terrell will make his 2nd career start and his 5th career appearance in a game. TVT was injured two weeks against on the road against Toledo with an apparent concussion. It was the 2nd time this season the fifth-year senior has had to leave a game with the head injury.
Terrell is 40-for-81 on the season for 489 yards and 2 TDs, both in the opener against Michigan State. However, he has thrown 5 interceptions as well. He will face a much more loose defense though today in the Cardinals, who have allowed 14 or more points in all 6 of their games this season.
