It's been all Toledo at the Glass Bowl, as the Rockets lead Eastern Michigan 38 to 10 after the first half of action.
The Rockets, without David Fluellen, instead are getting similar numbers from a platoon of runners, led by Kareem Hunt's 144 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries. Damien Jones Moore is over 50 yards on 4 carries with a touchdown run of his own. Through the air, Terrance Owens has 16/21 for 260 yards and TDs to Dwight Macon and Alex Zmolik.
The Eagles started Tyler Benz at QB, but after completing only 1 pass in two drives, coach Ron English put in the freshman QB (and St. John's Jesuit grad) Brogan Roback. His first pass would be picked off, but he would make up for it with a 16 yard TD pass to Dustin Creel.
Toledo leads Eastern Michigan in total offense, 456 yards to 182, but don't mark this one in the books yet: let's not forget last year's 55 point 3rd quarter that threw the whole game into whack.
