Still Hanging Out Downtown
13. Kent State Golden Flashes (Last Week: 11)
12. UMass Minutemen (LW: 12)
11. Eastern Michigan Eagles (LW: 13)
10. Miami Redhawks (LW: 10)
Kent State is obviously the bottom here, the only winless team left in the MAC after losing to UMass 40-14. After a win over Buffalo, the Eagles are the only 2-win team in this group.
The Middle Class
9. Ohio Bobcats (LW: 8)
8. Ball State Cardinals (LW: 9)
7. Buffalo Bulls (LW: 6)
Honestly, I'm surprised to see these teams down here. Well, at least if I'm looking at it from a perspective that really wants my preseason picks to always be right. But hey, Jack Milas had a good debut against Western Michigan last week, maybe they'll get out of here.
There's no class joke here. They work hard, they deserve some respect, but they're not going to be in the Top One Percent.
Because I Want to Keep These in Threes
6. Western Michigan Broncos (LW: 7)
5. Central Michigan Chippewas (LW: 5)
4. Bowling Green Falcons (LW: 4)
I'm not good at organizing things. I was flipping through one of my folders today. It was the green folder, which I use for my MATH 118 course. For some reason, I found the syllabus for my economics course. I still have dirty laundry on the ground with a load of clothes in the washer. This is my way of starting to be more organized. I'll work on dieting later.
There's a case for Bowling Green to be lower than Central Michigan, but I'm just counting the ballots. Don't yell at me.
CONTROVERSY!
3. Akron Zips (LW: 3)
2. Northern Illinois Huskies (LW: 1)
1. Toledo Rockets (LW: 2)
Wait, NIU and Toledo were 1 & 2 last week. What the damn hell is going on. We must not like Akron very much. Or maybe it's a strength of schedule thing. Alas, we found Toledo to take over as the best team in the MAC, even after falling short to Iowa State.
