Akron 83, Hiram 24

Not unlike EMU-Marygrove College last year, Akron-Hiram women's basketball might be another example of a game that never should've been. Akron began the game on a 23-0 run and Hiram, a Division III school, only scored 24 points in THE ENTIRE GAME. It was 42-11 at halftime.

Rachel Tecca returned from her season-ending injury last year and played 12 minutes, scoring 13 points and getting 6six rebounds and two blocks. Sina King led all Akron players with 15 points.
