Hey, road wins are road wins. Colorado State was picked fifth in the Mountain West.
Nobody went off the charts for the Rockets; everybody contributed, which is how they like it. We'll start with Naama Shafir: 11 points, eight assists and no turnovers. Lecretia Smith and Riley McCormick had 11 points each, and Yolanda Richardson chipped in with seven points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Shooting 11-for-24 from threes helped a bunch as that 5-for-12 on free throws didn't look good.
Presumably the Rockets will spend Thanksgiving out in the Mountains, as their next game is Wednesday night in Reno, Nevada against Santa Clara.
