Wright State 73, at Akron 71
A surprising loss for a team who had only lost one game until this one. Hanna Luburgh had a giant game: 26 points and nine rebounds, but WSU hung tough as a team and did just a bit better shooting and rebounding. Akron had a chance for the win at the end but Taylor Ruper's 3-pointer danced out of the rim at the end.
So Akron falls to 7-2. They'll try again on Saturday and host Cincinnati.
