Another good defensive showing out of the Huskies, but they couldn't score much on their own. Valpo kept a short lead for most of the game, so at least they kept up. Satavia Taylor led NIU with 16 points.
Gotta hand this to NIU; they don't lose games in bunches. They're only 5-8 but their longest losing streak is just two games. They'll have a good chance of getting back in the win column when they open up at Buffalo on Thursday.
