Huge win for the RedHawks. Duquesne entered the game 11-2 with victories over West Virginia, Delaware, Liberty and Pittsburgh. Miami controlled the second half and registered a huge road win to give them momentum into conference play. Kirsten Olowinski (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Courtney Osborn (13 points, 10 rebounds) both had double-doubles, while Kelsey Simon controlled the interior with 16 points on 8-for-9 shooting, seven rebounds and three blocks.
Miami improves to 8-5 and starts MAC play at Ball State.
